After a nuclear war destroys most of the world, Australia is left in ruins. Struggling to survive completely on its own, a new leader rises and creates a system that will prevent another large-scale disaster from happening again: the Examination. This new system allows for those who aren't deemed worthy to be exiled, so only the best and brightest can live in the new Australia. Each year, those who turn twenty are sent to their Examination, where they will be given a series of tests on varying subjects, and if you fail, you're sent off. Aria Maurer, a young girl starting her tests, is just starting to realize how complex the world really is when something interrupts the Examination for the first time in two-hundred years. Can she fix this broken world or will she be deemed unworthy of living before she has the chance to change anything?

Life comes at us with different tests, different tricks and different obstacles and the more you go through them the harder they get, just like a game, the higher the level the more difficult the game gets. That's something some of us have to find out the hard way, we remain clueless about how hard life can get until it hits us with full force leaving us completely and utterly confused on how we're gonna get through it but if we persist, then we find out that no condition is permanent. And that's also something Relic had to find out in a very harsh way, imagine people you love and trust most turning away as you are blamed for something you never did or losing a loved one after just being reunited with them, and then imagine going through mental trauma and no one even notices, all this is a short example of how cruel life suddenly gets but if your persistent enough, it'll eventually pass. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello there, this is probably the first book in the world that I intend on actually completing and I'm just going to warn you guys in advance, if maybe I suddenly get bored of writing this book and stop writinig it I am terribly sorry but it doesn't mean I won't try and complete it, I just don't want you guys to experience the heart break I feel when I'm so engrossed in a book but then find out that the writer isn't going to continue from where they left off so I'm warning you guys in advance, read at your own risk cause I'm not sure if I'll complete it. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. *Prologue* To be entirely honest with you, I never really considered my future. It's not like I needed to...right?
