Ava Stoner is an 18 year old girl who is the only remaining Stoner after her family's mysterious disappearance. Her family disappeared when she was only 13 years old, after attending a big party organized by the millionaire: Adam Coleman.

After a few years of searching for clues, the detectives gave up the case and left it unsolved and after a while, so did Ava. She gave up all hope until a guy named Elijah Coleman arrived to London after finishing high school in France. Followed by his arrival, strange and unusual events began to happen, which led Ava to think that The Coleman had something going on and that something could lead her closer to find her family.

Paid by her adoptive family, Ava attends college to study criminology. As soon as she starts college she discovers Elijah is also studying criminology and will be her classmate for the rest of her time there. So, she plans on getting closer to him in order to get closer to The Coleman family and look for more clues about her missing family.

As she gets closer to him she starts noticing some unusual things about him that don't workout the puzzle about his past, and she eventually discovers the un comforting truth.
