On one side of town there is  Ruby, a respectful black girl, but her life is full of disappointment, while on the other side of town there is Daniel, a tough white boy who has no regards for the rules. But what if something were to change their situations? When one day Ruby and Daniel's schools decide to integrate and they are forced to attend the same school.
