Rebellions are built on hope.

That's the foundation, the bedrock the soldiers stand on so they can bleed their way through the battlefield. War isn't a place for children, but it's where Cassian's life started. The blood, sweat, and tears came shortly after, followed by the bodies. Assassinations, spying, and everything else that comes with the hidden side of the fire-hearted rebellion had become so ingrained into his mind that he never stopped to think about if any of it was right.

Darkness isn't only in the Empire.

"Why did you do it?" "Hmmm" "Why did you do it if you loved him so much?" "Because sometimes aunt Rebekah, love, isn't enough" According to Seraphina Von Potter, insanity was a relative term; after all, you never know who has been locked in what cage. Seraphina had a locked cage too-one that she keeps locked deep in her mind because pretending it doesn't exist is much easier than acknowledging it. After all, one doesn't come out sane when you grow up with a soul shard stuck in your head-an old headmaster who raised her like a genuine pig for slaughter. The British wizarding world has always put Dumbledore on a pedestal; they worshipped the ground he walked on, and maybe it was one of the reasons that they were selectively blind to all his faults and shortcomings, but Dumbledore knew better. He knew that, contrary to popular belief, he was no match for Tom Riddle. He was desperate, and when he saw a young child with the bluest eyes he had ever seen that sang with unhinged power and the blood of the oldest vampire family, he couldn't help but take her. Yet, despite all of his plans, Dumbledore didn't account for Peverell. He wasn't prepared for the kind of madness that ran in the blood of a Peverell, lest one be as powerful as her. After all, Hope Mikaelson, or Seraphina Von Potter, has always had a very special connection with death. Death was there when she was born, and she was there when Hope became Seraphina. 𝐒𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 Imani, a skilled Padawan on the brink of becoming a Jedi at 27, and her close companion, Osha-three years her junior-share a bond forged through years of training and survival. As orphans taken in by the Jedi Order, they grew up side by side, honing their skills and following the path of the light. Yet their shared journey is tinged with a shadow, one that has lingered in Imani's heart since childhood. The two former Padawans are unexpectedly reunited with their old Jedi Master to investigate a string of violent crimes on the edge of the galaxy. But as they delve deeper, they uncover forces darker and more sinister than they ever imagined-forces that resonate eerily with Imani's long-buried fears. Imani's nightmares have haunted her for as long as she can remember, visions of a tragic war that claimed her parents and left her an orphan. These dreams, vivid and unrelenting, are always marked by the presence of a figure cloaked in shadow. A man with a dark helmet, a menacing aura, and a crimson lightsaber that burns into her vision. At first, she dismissed these nightmares as echoes of her trauma. But as her connection to the Force deepened, Imani began to suspect the truth: these were not mere dreams-they were visions. Visions of the future. The mysterious Sith she saw night after night was no specter of the past but a harbinger of the dark destiny awaiting her. Adding to her burden is her twin sister, Mae, who diverged from the path of the Jedi. Where Imani and Osha embraced the light, Mae chose a far darker path, one that threatens to intersect with the very forces Imani fears most. As Imani & Osha's investigation brings them closer to the source of the crimes-and closer to the Sith who has haunted her visions-Imani is forced to confront the possibility that her nightmares are warning of the battles to come. *COMPLETE* Cassian didn't expect to wake up. He had prepared himself once again for what seemed like inevitable death, although his final moments were filled with much more heartbreak than he'd ever experienced. He had looked into Jyn's eyes for what he thought to be the last time, and wished desperately that he had had more time. Fate has a cruel way of twisting one's expectations, and now Cassian's wish was granted. *cover art is mine!* To the writer of Stardust (DaStarWarsGeek), your story is what inspired mine, so thank you!
