When 14 year old Kara finds a mysterious coin and gets attacked by possessed creatures at midnight, her life takes on a whole new element of weird.  But then she is transported to another world, and finds herself caught up in a war stretching across the boundaries of time and space.  But with a few -ah- interesting friends, a little magic and help from some bizarre creatures, will Kara be able to stop the Dark Ones' rise in power, before it's too late?

Can she have the fortitude to save the world from total chaos, or does she save her love and allow the world to seep into darkness?
