Robin Hood's daughter, Robin Marie (known affectionately among her father's Merry Men as, 'Songbird'), grows up learning of her father through stories told by her many 'uncles', despite her mother's ban on any Robin Hood tales of glory. She chafes under her mother's rules, in fancy, constricting gowns, and longs to live free, in the Greenwood, just as her father did. She wants for nothing, save to live up to her father's legend, but when her chance comes, will she also share his fate?

I have finally completed the first rough draft of the Prologue of this story -- the one I have been writing in my head since I was very young. This is probably my first original story and I am only now committing it to print. (LOL) Feedback welcome. How excited would you be to read the first chapter?All Rights Reserved
