Gerard and Mikey have been friends with Ray for years. They hung out all the time until Mikey and Ray started dating. Since then, Gerard has been going to the local bars to pass his time. He really only goes for the local bands and inspiration for upcoming projects of his. Frank Iero is in one the bands Gerard has seen. Gerard finds it intriguing when he watches him play for how he gets lost in the music. Gerard ends up drawing Frank and when Frank finds out, he wants to get to know Gerard as Gerard wants to know him as well. The two end up becoming roommates and tensions run deep but they don't know if the other had the same feelings or if they are just wasting each other's time.

Gerard Way, gamer boy, nerd had a small little crush on Frank Iero, slater boy, emo, cutest guy in school, stoner, both boys are paired for a history project, they become inseparable both falling for each other, too scared to tell each other.
