The Water Wings

I kept running from the Demon Overlord. My wings were still healing so I couldn't fly. I almost made it to the temple when I tripped over a large root. The evil bastard picked me up and pinned me to a tree. He took out his knife and held it to my neck making blood gush out of my neck. I tried to fight , but I lost too much energy running. My life flashed before my eyes, my life as a human, the transformation, the training, the journey, all my friends... Then all went black.
