Meet Toby Peterson. Picture, middle school. The cliche nerd. But everyone has their secrets right? Well, Toby's secret, well, it's bad enough to change a person. Picture, senior year.

Now, meet Phoenix Frostfire. Middle school bad girl with a secret. She doesn't seem to know that actions have consequences. What happens when they meet and become best friends by bonding over candy? Everyone always says that opposites attract but what if they don't? Or, do they really? Now picture senior year. Phoenix and Toby. Best friends. Toby, black jeans, black shirt, black jacket and black high tops. Now picture his best friend. Black skinny jeans, white tee shirt and red and black plaid with white high tops and glasses? Neither of them too bad but not innocent either. Toby at the top of the social ladder, Phoenix somewhere one there but not too close to the bottom. Though still close enough to be called a nerd. Best friends with the school bad boy and every other girl, is jealous.
