Adventures of a Teenage Hero

Amy is a small town girl who is frustrated with her mom for changing her name at birth, and not telling her what it was before. And to add to that stress a monster called a cyclops chases her all the way out of her small town in Alabama all the way to California. They don't stop running for weeks, finally she finds a big school, and the monster stops, like he's in a trance and walks away.
