There are so many things that I can't control in my life. Too many variables, not enough constants. But there was always Noella; beautiful, brave, broken Noella. It's always been me and her. Jade Hawthorne and Noella Knox. The danger duo, the greatest friends of all time. We're polar opposites. She's innocent and pure, I'm sarcastic and cynical; she's kind and loving, I'm cold and patronizing. But Noella has brought out the best in me. We're both been burned and our hearts have been smashed but we turned different ways after that. Noella found the light, she discovered a way out of her sadness. On the other hand, I fed off my darkness. It was easier for me. Because after all, why bother climbing out of a hole just to fall back in? But I looked to Noella for support, for a helping hand that was there if I wanted it. But as all us broken people know, Nothing good ever lasts.
