April O'Neil: So, you wrote a book... Me: A long-ass book. April: A long-ass book! How did it come about? Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. April: And you didn't find anything? Me: Don't get me wrong, April! There are so incredibly great fanfics and xreader stories out there, and I ate them all up! But I needed a new kick and I wanted something epic, dramatic that involved the mystical powers of the turtles and their further developments. April: And then you started writing yourself? Me: The story came about on its own. In my head. And at some point I just had to write it down, otherwise I would have exploded. With the writing, it didn't become a typical xreader story with the "y/n" in it, because that had irritated me. I know that the "y/n" comes out of an inclusive thought, and I think that's good and right. Unfortunately it blocked me, the heroine in my story was too complex and too concrete, and so I gave it up, even if it was no longer a real xreader story. April: And now you're writing a second book? Me: Exactly. The sequel. I'm on it. April: Do you want to give us a little teaser? Me: Well, there's still Leo and his complicated relationship with my heroine. And in the sequel, he finds out that he actually likes rabbits, too. April: Yeeeah? Me: No, no - I don't want to give too much away! April: Am I also on board again? My Cliche
This is basically a book that means a lot to me. Black Veil Brides practically raised me and though a little cliche, saved my life. Then Halsey was introduced into my life and I learned to understand myself and accept who I was, what I was, and all of the present tense versions. BTS came along and then I knew how to be happy with myself. There are steps to everyones life, and these three groups/artists were my steps. I put them together in a story of how I felt at the time of each group being introduced, though it may not be understood. I know some of it is off a little, but it made me happy to write it. So here is my fanfiction. And my Cliche. Celeste Greene had never been a lucky girl. At eight, her father shot her mother and when the suspicion was gone, he beat his daughter. Once she turned thirteen, a new neighbor decided to show pity when hearing a scream. Now, Celeste spends her seventeenth year of life at an abusive orphanage that could easily be compared to prison. As soon as she gave her statement to put her father in jail, she stopped talking, labeled as mute.Complete
