After their precious mother, Jackie, died from cancer in 1994, Caroline, John, and Patrick have to go on with their lives. Ever since 1963 when their father was assassinated Jackie had been their rock. They all had their ups and downs, but there was an unbreakable bond between a mother and her children.
As Jackie once said, "If you bungle raising your children, I don't think whatever else you do matters very much."
Soon after, Patrick's daughter, Riley, married Brett Eldredge on September 12, 2015, he wrote a song about Jackie called, Go On Without Me. His inspiration was the stories that her three children told about her.

Everyone remembers November 22nd 1963, right? The day the nation of America lost their favourite president, John F. Kennedy to an assassination. What if he survived his assassination, and fell in love with his acclaimed, "patsy" assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, how would that turn out? Follow Jack and Lee in this historical fanfiction novel, full of action, drama, a bit of angst and romance. *This is purely a work of fiction with historical events laced through, none of the events depicted AFTER the 22nd-25th November 1963, and beyond into 1964 and 1968 (Lyndon B. Johnson being President and Robert "Bobby" Kennedy being assassinated, 5 years after his brother) aren't real, for example, Kennedy falling for Oswald.
