(All my stories so far take place in the more mundane area of the galaxy, in this we will delve into the strange, mystical, awe inspiring, and down right weird parts of the galaxy called: Dracel... I hope you enjoy :D

From the contest Write to Rank, a competition about action writing with challenges every week. This is my entry on the contest. Hope you enjoy it. Released : Part 1 -white belt : write a 100 words flash-fiction action about the realization of danger. The wordcount must be exactly 100 Part 2 -yellow belt : write a 500 words flash-fiction with the prompt "Dead or alive. You're coming with me." The wordcount max is 500 words Part 3 -orange belt : write an 800 words flash-fiction with dialogue between good and bad. The wordcount max is 800 words Part 4 -green belt : write a 1000-1500 words flash-fiction using the genres of action & thriller/horror. Must mostly contain active sentences and fast-paced. It has to be first person perspective. Part 5 -blue belt : write a 1000-1500 words flash-fiction using the theme "Ride or Die" with a third person perspective and the show not tell sentences. Part 6 -purple belt : write a 1000-1500 words action fantasy with a plot twist. Part 7 -brown belt : write a 2000-2500 words action + free theme and with active sentences. End with an insane cliffhanger. Part 8 -red belt : write a 3000-3500 words (continuation of the brown belt) + active sentences and fast-paced. 30 Days, 30 Stories: A Writing Challenge
This is a 30 day writing challenge, a collection of short stories. I've always been a world class procrastinator. The goal of this challenge is to get me writing regularly and, hopefully, break me of the perfectionist thinking that often paralyses me. The Rules: 1. Write and publish 1 short story (flash fic, vignette) per day for 30 days. 2. Stories must be at least 100 words. 3. They can be of any genre or subject matter. Like a lot of writers I have notebooks lying around full of random story ideas. Most of my older ideas are for novels and screenplays. Been going thru my old ideas and picking out the ones I think lend themselves to the short story format. I'm also working on coming up with NEW ideas that I can use here. Never been good at using prompts, but this is a good opportunity to experiment with those. All the stories here are original works written specifically for this challenge. My second collection of short stories, but longer than the works in my Read my Shorts collection. This volume consists of anything more than 1000 words and includes new works, re-writes of a few older pieces and anything else I found on my computer that I'd forgotten to post before. SmackDown: Back to Our Roots
Our previous two SmackDowns were both massive successes, and it's high time for another. You might remember the last one was heavy on the "game" elements, maybe even too heavy. This time we're going back to the basics and keeping it simple. It's just a motherfuckin' sci-fi SmackDown: a heated writing contest where contestants are given text-, music- and visual-based prompts, and then they need to write a short story around that, following which they're judged for their efforts and either move on to the next round or they get eliminated from the competition. SPOREFALL | ONC 2025
Three months ago, a thick, white powder covered the Earth overnight. Not snow, but spores, hundreds of spores, all from an unknown source. Those that came into contact with the substance became spore-touched: violent, uncaring, every one able to turn into plants hundreds of feet tall and rip apart the world itself. Three months ago, Mya lost her humanity, and with it, everything she knew. Not all at once, but every day is another memory gone, all washed over by new instincts, identities, and wants. In a city slowly being torn apart by the massive vegetation of her new kind, her options either to join their collective, or escape with what remains of herself, her days are spent surviving, and hiding amongst Humans. Humans that will burn her alive the second she's caught. The only thing she has is a water bottle and the goals of her former self, but the likelihood of achieving them in a post-apocalyptic world is bleak enough, and that's if she can still remember them by the end of the week. So when another spore-touched offers to take her to a supposed safe haven, all with the hope that they both can be turned back, she takes it. Not because this new companion seems like the most trustworthy person, not because they can promise to stop her from becoming a monster- She takes it because there's nothing else to choose.
