The Conspiracy Theory of June 17
This is the story of how we found out. At first it was just us three, a cold June morning, a hyper maths class, and a beloved teacher. Then, she had to leave, and it was just us three who had the idea that maybe it was not all it seemed. At first it was just us being silly. We made a 'fake' theory, just for fun, and it ended up not just involving her but everyone else who was being suspicious in our eyes. Ha ha. And then, we went to sleep, and didn't speak of it again, but when woke, there were more than the three of us who knew about it. At first it was just a theory, but before the week had ended it had turned into something more. Of course, at first we were skeptical, but not after it became our reality. A reality so true and harsh that at the first signs of disbelief, it had come to bite us, to hunt us down, to try to kill us. And then we had no choice to unrap it, and that was when we found the truth. This is mostly the story of how me and my two best friends, one teacher, and classmates solved the case of the missing maths teacher and saved about a dozen others from their fates. But this is also the start of something bigger. The formation of a team, the prospect of more adventures, and a mystery just waiting to be solved. We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN )

Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'.
