It's been four years since the Rapture. All the good people in the world have already been taken up to Heaven, leaving only the Wicked behind. In this post apocalyptic world, the sun appears for only a few hours each day, with darkness dominating most of the time. In almost every major city in the United States, organized street gangs prowl the streets at night, murdering anyone who intrudes into their territory. In this harsh and unforgiving world, a small band of young adults must come together to stay alive, each haunted by a different past.

On their journey through what remains of the Continental United States, they must overcome both supernatural threats like Demons, and much more human dangers like gangs and psychopaths. On the path to Redemption, many of them will fall short, while others will find a way to persevere and renew themselves. Before the remaining Evil is finally purged from the world forever, these survivors must rise above it all.

"Last night, I had a dream the world ended. Half the population disappeared, and unfathomable eldritch beasts shambled out of an unending darkness." In a world with no sun and bloodthirsty creatures roaming the all consuming dark, the only places still safe are the small compounds that managed to get walls up before all came crashing down. Now, life is simple. Stay inside the walls, and you'll stay alive. It's not relatively easy anymore, though. With no one for company but each other, danger lurking only a few yards away from their homes, and half of their loved ones swept away in a mysterious event known only as 'The Vanishing', the morale of the populous is at an all time low. It's only getting worse for some, as their cities that are supposed to be providing for them are failing to do so. Survivors Wesly and Valentine aren't content with this, however, especially since Val's mother desperately needs life-saving medicine that the city just won't send. With no other options, the two journey outside the wall to study the monsters beyond, selling the information they find to the city in exchange for their support. While dangerous, they manage the task fine until one journey out they stumble across a disturbing, gruesome revelation that reveals not only more about the city, but the end of the world as a whole. As the duo begin to pull on the thread and tangle themselves slowly into its snare, they begin to realize there's a lot more to this apocalypse than they ever could have imagined, and that the horrific beasts they've been studying might be the least of their concerns...

"I didn't shoot her because I was 'brave'... I shot her because she was my daughter, and I didn't want her to walk around and be one of those flesh eaters..." I explained to John. "John, I'm not a leader, if anything, you're the leader." I told him. "No, man." John said with a laugh. "You are. Think about it Aaron, think about it." John said before he walked away. It has been 2 weeks into the apocalypse. Things aren't going to be easy for the group as they realize danger is closer than they thought. People are adapting to the new world, but some aren't adapting very well. Will the group be prepared for what's coming for them? Or will everything fall apart before they can even try to stop it?
