"Who's there?" He asked.
"Cows go."
"Cows go who?" He asked.
"No, cows go moo," I said. "Taaa daaa!"
"Okay, now get out of my way," he demanded walking past me.
"No, wait-"
I was cut off by Dylan throwing me over his shoulder. He scooped me up so easily as if I didn't weigh much. His arm was strong holding my waist securely and his shoulder was comfortable under my stomach.
Once upon a time, there was a normal girl going through High School. She had really rich parents and she got everything she wanted. Everyone loved her because of how sweet she was. She was completely healthy as well so she lived happily ever after!
Wait! Cut! That is not my life story at all! Let me tell you the real story...
Once upon a time, there was an awkward 17-year-old girl going through High School. She had never met her parents and had to live with her idiotic older brother, William Johnson. They were not rich at all. They didn't even have a house to sleep in. Most people in her school hated her because of how sweet and bubbly she was but she was just trying to make them happy. And let's just say she had a very deadly disease as well.
Now that is the life story of me; Naomi Johnson.
And I don't believe in two things;
1. Happily ever afters
2. Hope
Because I can't just hope that my life will be happily ever after because I know it's not.

I ran, and I ran, and I ran, trying to get as far away from the mansion as possible. I was too weak to shift, but my determination kept me running. My name is Gemma Gilbert, or as many like to call me, GG. Don't get me wrong, I love my name, but the only reason I'll end up hearing my full name, is because I'm in deep trouble. Like always, I cause trouble, and my parents decided to send me to a 'behavioral boot camp' in Michigan State. Everything was turning upside down for me when they did, but everything went worse after I received some terrible news. My parents had passed away. I thought instantly about my brother, and sister, I thought the worst. I was relieved to find out they were alright, but brought down when the camp did not let me leave until my year was completed. So I did, I waited, and waited, and when the year came 'round, I was ecstatic to finally be with Aunt JenJen, Jeremy, and Elena. I just wanted to be with them so badly, but I couldn't, no, someone had paid for an extra year, and they wouldn't allow me to call home. After five months of being there, I came up with a plan to escape, but with no money, or any funds, I had to stay the year. Fortunately for me, nobody paid for a third year, and I was free. In the year I was there, I was able to get a job within the camp, and got paid 5$ an hour, and I accumulated enough for a transport back home. Mystic Falls. Oh how I missed the sweet smell of flowers in spring, and chipper wood in the winter. When I got back I thought I'd be greeted by my family hugging me, and telling me how sorry they felt, or how much mom missed me, and loved all of us, but instead I was met by an unwelcoming sister, and unwelcoming setting. Not Sick But Not Well.
This day wasn't an exception. I cried over and over until I could no longer, I wiped my tears and took the packages in my arms after opening the door. In the house, nothing new. They were still talking, so I had time to drop off the packages, and without even opening one, I headed to the showers, cleaned my face with water, and went to my room. This is roughly how my days as a child went. I know that it cannot be described as an ideal childhood, but it would certainly be the most beautiful period of my life. Despite family conflicts, school conflicts, loneliness, and fear, I was happy. I was happy because they were all there, happy because they always remained, despite my faults, and happy. After all, I knew that I had not yet experienced the worst. Happy because I knew, that sooner or later everything would end. So yes, I was as cowardly and useless as they all claimed and even more naive than they would have believed, but this vision that I had at that age kept me going. Although the truth was hard to accept, I was given no choice. So I accepted life as it came; I accepted myself and my truth, my weaknesses, and the fact that I had to get used to the idea that I would always be the first actor to die in films.
