They had congratulated him, but he could clearly see through to what they meant. The words they chose, and the tone they spoke with resonated with relief. As if he was a malady, a pure burden. Yurio knew they wanted him gone with every quiet, nearly inaudible sigh that came out of their mouths when he approached them.
But he was different. He was a competitor, someone Yurio swore he hated. He actually paid attention to Yuri. He never ignored him, not once. His name is JJ. Jean-Jacques Leroy, the man Yuri Plisetsky had given his heart to. Jean-Jacques Leroy, who felt no remorse for the boy he had ruined.

Yuri was halfway through his program, when he heard noise coming from the side of the rink. He ignored it at first, trying to focus on the next jump that he had to do.
He started to do his Triple Lutz-Triple Flip combination and glanced in Viktor's direction.
He never made the jump properly and fell against the boards. Scrambling to get up quickly, he skated over to the side lines and seen the other male collapsed onto the ground.
"Viktor!" The raven haired male went to his side and shook him gently.
Someone was calling his name, but Yuri didn't hear them clearly. He was trying to wake the other male up. He was starting to feel desperate and didn't know what to do.
