Hercules Mulligan. He's been going to this same school in this same city with these same people all his life. He had friends, sure, but he'd never had a true connection with anyone. That is, until Lafayette showed up. A cute, curly haired foreign exchange student with a (sexy..? adorable?..) French accent. They end up falling into a real love, but something is happening with Herc's friends. Laf doesn't understand. He hasn't been around long enough to understand.
Herc is trying- like Peggy, Angie, and (even the arrogant) Tom- to settle things, but it brings him down. Way down. He falls into a rut of depression that is overwhelming. One thing leads to another.. and the world will never be the same.
