Romance
They both don't want to settle down and they both have everything they want, but what happens when their dads decide to get them married and give them a month before braking the news to them? Will they fall in love or kill each other before the month ends? How will Ashley handle someone as bossy as Mason? How will Mason handle a rebel such as Ashley? --- "What the hell is wrong with you?!" Push him on the chest multiple times. He doesn't respond, and simply takes a few steps back. When all of a sudden he grabs the back of my neck and kisses me. This asshole thinks he can call me a whore, hit me in a car, and kiss me, all in the same night. --- "Ms. Styles I don't care if you are here to learn, work, or whatever it is that you do." he keeps walking dangerously close and of course I just so happened to hit the wall. Shit! His face is so close to me. "As far as I'm concerned you are my assistant and you will do what I tell you, how I tell you, when I tell you, without question. Is that clear?" Well it's kind of hard to miss when you cage me with your hands against a wall! I so badly wanted to just yell in his face but I can't. This guy is crazy. I mean literally, there is no telling what this guy will do next so I took the safest option. I nodded my head, slowly cause if I move too much I'm afraid our lips might touch. "Good." he said and slowly slide his hands down. Which for some stupid reason gave me butterflies. Next thing I know I'm on the floor. Well, turns out the 'wall' was a door and he slide his hands down to the door knob. If looks could kill Mason Parker really would have been dead a million times over. He didn't even bother to hide his laugh! Is it wrong to kill him now? Self-defense? No? "And get me coffee, black, no sugar." he said and slammed the door on my face almost hitting my legs in the process. I'm going to poison his coffee. ---

Three years ago, Amber Milburn met Chris Collins...a senior who was arrogant, impossible, and far too good at getting under her skin. She eventually fell for him. He crushed those feelings badly... despite clearly feeling something himself. They walked away with pride intact and hearts slightly damaged. Now, three years later, Amber unknowingly lands an internship at his company. Chris is now the bossy, perfectly polished CEO who likes his coffee black, his desk spotless, and his life under control. Amber is chaotic sunshine in heels...funny without trying, stubborn by nature, and somehow, always fainting when he's just an inch too close. He likes order. She is disorder. He gives instructions. She argues with them. He wants distance. She keeps ending up in his space. Somewhere between office disasters, stolen glances, possessive moments, family chaos, loyal friends, and a history neither of them truly buried... old sparks begin to feel dangerously new again. Because the problem with unfinished stories is? They have a habit of starting over. *** "How could you do this to me? Why make me sign that contract?" I asked furiously. He looked up from his laptop and smirked. "As far as I remember, I didn't make you sign the contract, did I? You signed it on your own. If I am not wrong, it is entirely your fault for signing without reading the documents properly. The first rule in business is: never sign any papers without reading them properly." "I deny," I said. "Your wish, Ms. Milburn. You can walk out of the company anytime and meet my lawyers in court tomorrow," he said, leaning back in his chair. "You're cruel, Chris." "It's Mr. Collins for you, Ms. Milburn. I hope you know basic etiquette and professionalism, or your business degree is useless." "I hate you!" "Now, if you are done wasting my time, go and bring me my coffee. No sugar. Now out!" These three months were going to be the most disturbing and stressful three months of my life.
