I owed her a proper letter, I didn't write enough, but what could I say. It seemed like everyone else wrote so much more than me, but they probably had more people to write to than just their mom. Every time I tried to tell her what happened with Anne, what the trenches were like, how desperately I had to hold myself together, the agony I was always in, why should she know, what was the point. I never could figure out if it was kind or cruel that demons could never have demonic parents, my mom's humanity meaning she would never know how it was, and sometimes, like now, I wouldn't tell her if I could. I like being her invincible daughter, like no other succubus, how happy she was when I convinced her I would survive this, and I would, but she didn't need to know how, but I couldn't lie. My letter told her I was alive, not sick or injured, that I miss my home, I miss her, that I love her. It was what I could manage, so it had to be enough, she would understand. Writing this to cope with szn 2 and other stuff but mostly szn 2 It's basically child reader [14] being parented by Aziraphale and Crowley It's written with gender neutral pronouns so you can read this if you're a guy, gal, or non binary pal. The main character will also be bilingual, I'm mexican-american so if your Spanish is different than mine that's why. Also I'm not using things like y/n, h/c, e/c in case you like stories having that. Warning this will probably have some explicit language and a main character with serious issues. Jake was just a normal teenage boy. Normal problems, normal friends, even a normal school bully. Until the dream. Jake has been having nightmares for several weeks now. Always very similar. It isn't until one night when he's sucked into the nightmare itself that His life will never be the same. ( I've been working on this for a really long time. If any readers or writers in the community want to give suggestions for edits. The first half of the story give or take was written a long time ago. So it may not follow the same writing style.
