Alex, Cora and Rose have sought out to do the impossible: travel into the past. They thought that it would be easy after doing all their research in forbidden books, but once they come to time-traveling, they do something wrong. Instead of traveling back in time, they travel forward, freezing it in the process. Inside this future, there are helpless creatures trying to stay safe from the evil tyrants. Alex, Cora and Rose must find a way out of this horrible world, but they first have to set out on a mission to save the world that their new friends live in.

Four strangers find themselves trapped in a cage without any knowledge of the past three years. To figure out what happened, they'll have to somehow get along, then investigate every lead together. None of them are prepared for the wars they'll fight through, or even the truth. This is the first book I ever ever wrote, so it's a little rough. Consider it non-canon. This takes place well after the Silent Veil, at the end of ACT 1 for the overarching plot. This contains spoilers basically, but most of those plot points have changed anyways since this book was written. There are also themes I don't exactly align with anymore. I plan to completely re-write this story in the future. For now, I hope you'll enjoy what I did about this thing: fun characters going through a fun romp in space. What to expect: Fun, action, disco! George 'Slick' a disco legend that can glue anyone together. Kielbir a merciless pirate, but he doesn't remember that bit. Donid a sniper poet with daddy and mommy issues. Lou Hull an engineer with lacking self confidence. Be prepared for a love triangle, a great political conspiracy, and horrific discoveries.

But when she learns that she is an undead-dead nature spirit, things get complicated. Caught between two boys, her new powers, an extra parent, and a disease ridden spirit crazy for power, she has to make some decisions she never thought she'd have to make. Thorne's town has been overrun, and she has been forced to go on a road trip that may never end. Along with her best friend, and other accumulated survivors their path has crossed with, they take a journey across the country to get away from the terror of the dead -- and the living. Warning: this is the old version (which you hopefully realized by the title). The new version is very much different, much more thought out and outlined. It hasn't been posted yet (still needs to be written and then lots of revising). I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything.
