Cassie Shadow is the daughter of two of the most renowned hunters in the world, meaning that she's a part of the hunter section, well she is for now. The world was devastated by a secret and a war. The world is now split into the thirds, the unknowing humans, the hunters, and the supernatural.  Each teenager at the age of 16 goes through the Selection to find out what section they belong to.
