For as long as she can remember, Ru has been living in her Tower, surrounded by trees, and her lustrous, long hair, and her mother to keep her safe.

Only when the news of her mother's death arrives, Ru is no longer safe. With her hair ragged, and owning nothing save for the very clothes on her back, Ru must venture into the cold, harsh world called reality. 

When the past comes to revisit her, she's not quite ready. The Prince, who was once charming, now wants her blood, and he will travel to the ends of the earth to get it.
