Summary:
Everything is black and white. For everyone, until someone finds their soulmate.
Louis helps a man with carrying bags to his house. And then when their hands touch and the beautiful colours green and blue spread trough their forefinger and the room fills with multiple colours, he realizes that he found his soulmate. But the stranger doesn't.
Idea: "Imagine an alternate universe, where your entire life you've only ever seen black and white. But when you receive the first touch from your soulmate colour blooms before your eyes. The colours only stay while you're touching. But while you're together and touching... everything is beautiful"

Louis spent his entire adolescence excited at the possibilities of what his tattoo would look like and who his soulmate would be, until his 18th birthday. The day of everyone's lives where they're supposed to have had their tattoo already. Now, 5 years after the disappointment of not receiving one, Louis has completely given up on ever finding someone. He's given up on ever getting a tattoo, on ever finding a soul mate, and on ever being loved. Until he meets Kealleigh a month after her 18th birthday. (This is a short story. Please do not directly steal my ideas, like the tattoos for example because I made them up entirely on my own. This short story is a complete work of fiction inspired by some other soulmate stories that I've read over time. @zpanacea sent me this suggestion: Harry is a painter. The time comes when he can't paint because he lost inspiration and can't get himself to paint. When he was trying to paint again, he let his hand do the work. He looked at the finished product of his painting, it shows a lad smiling at him with ocean-blue eyes, and like beckoning him to be with him. When he touches the painting he got sucked in and finds himself in an unfamiliar living room with toys scattered all around (which is the Tomlinson's residence). Alright, I tried to keep to the main idea but I had to make some changes to make the story work. Harry is a painter and after waking up with a dream fresh in his mind he paints the boy in his dream.
