The claws had emerged before I'd even realised, gently tearing their way through my skin, running their way through my arms and changing my body into the one thing I thought I'd hated, but I'd begun to love more than anything: a monster. ---------------------- High school. A place where children go to grow their minds and adapt to adulthood. Where nothing but popularity and grades matter. I was a weird kid. I still am, but that's besides the point. One day, I walked into the wrong class, and something went wrong. Turns out, Things got weirder and weirder. Suddenly, popularity and grades don't really matter anymore. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. All I can hear is cheering in my head or maybe ringing. For the first time in 12 years Mother and I were able to sleep that hot summer night in bed together. my first finished book. I started writing this, when I was in 8th grade, and I ended writing it at freshman year. Warning: most of the book was written, when I was at school, meaning some stuff wasn't really researched (or was it?). And it may or may not have a lot of mistakes. This fanfic is was posted earlier on ao3 (since ao3 is cheaper, you don't have to buy subscriptions + some stuff to read it). This book doesn't have graphic smut, but it does have violence! (and pure murder). Currently, I'm writing my second book, which is mainly focused on what happened when Janna was stuck on Planet Europa 5893x. It has more murder, violence, royal drama, and maybe some romantic relationships (the only non-toxic ship in the first book were two 11 year old boys). When I was writing this book, I thought: "if tweek and craig were two 10 year olds in a healthy mlm relationship, why can't I do the same thing, but with an skateboarding goth 11 year old and a broke trans 11 year old". warning: janna, nate walker, bad (horrible) parenting, crazy oc-lore, murder and violence, toxic relationships, (surprisingly) healthy relationships, mentions of multiple fandoms (as we read the book, since my oc-lore is literally a cross-over between fandoms + my own thing), 🏳️🌈people, swearing, mentions of drugs(idk much about them but my oc's a drug dealer-) + many other stuff I should've mentioned, but didn't mention, because I was too lazy-Complete

I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes.
