Gella and Jaxon Kator have a history wracked with tragedy. Stranded as children, they had no choice but to be raised in a Rebel base with danger constantly looming overhead. When Gella hears about Jyn Erso's plan to steal the plans for the Death Star, she sees an opportunity to take a stand against the Empire that took everything from her family years ago. Pulling Jaxon along with her, she embarks on a mission that has everything hanging in the balance. But when things go awry, people lose their lives and hostages are taken, Gella has to make decisions that have her questioning everything she believes in.

Star Wars: Duel of the Fates
This is my version of the third chapter of the new Star Wars trilogy. I will not change anything that happened in either Force Awakens or Last Jedi. I will uphold the restrictions that resulted from the sad death of Carrie Fisher and will only draw from the deleted scenes or audio from pre-existing Star Wars movies and properties. Whilst I appreciated what Last Jedi was trying to do, I did not actually like it. However, I have no intention of undoing any of the main plot points or revelations that were in it. E.g. Rey will certainly not be a Palpatine. The story will not contain any Reylo. I know, I know: I love it too, but it was really weird seeing it as canon in the Rise of Skywalker. Do not expect it here.
