The world has been destroyed by radiation and collective human activity. Nearly all life on Earth has either died or are so injured that they lie in the old rotting cities, unable to prevent the weeds and roots from growing over them. They became the Wilters, decaying almost dead things that are useless to the Earth, they aren't even dangerous, just there. Kind of depressing really.
Yet out of the smoke and chaos of the old world. Survives emerged, people so strong and powerful that they lived through an apocalypse. There were eighty survivors all together, not many really considering that Earth grew to contain 9 billion people then plummeted to just eighty.

Its your generic adventure story. Hopefully not going to turn out like Divergent.

Taunted by his older brother Rain, and his Elemental partner Ember, the insecurity within takes control of his element. Monsters don't exist but humans do. Humans have a talent for destroying anything beautiful about to bloom. When the last human on Earth died, she died like a hero going home. In a world without a future, each passing moment is the end of the world. It is the year 2136, seven years from the supposed extinction of the human race. Along with Axel, a group of teenage boys wake up in a train with no memory of who they are or where they are going. They make up the remainder of the human population. They soon discover they are much further away from home then they thought. When they look outside, they realise the sky is black tinged with blood, the buildings are made of flesh and plumes of smoke escape from the cracks of the scorched grounds. Time does not exist here. Even the sun and moon has abandoned them. They quickly discover they are not alone leading Axel to believe he isn't the good guy after all. Truth to be told, he doesn't even think he's human. When Axel discovers something far worse then he could ever imagine, he knows no matter how much he wants it some stories won't have a happy ending. In fact, this might be the final ending for humans.
