This story follows an redheaded elf who was abandoned by the one she gifted her heart to. With a war on the horizon, she cant afford to be distracted.
Caeda must gather an army and defend the world she calls home while juggling her personal life and politics. Can she save her home again?
Warning: i am not that great of a writer and am mostly writing this because i felt cheated that the story was over so quickly. I will do my best on this and try to finish it.

Veiled Lies and Half-Truths
This story is a Solas x Inquisitor Lavellan fan fiction. It eventually deviates greatly from the actual Dragon Age: Inquisition plot line and focuses more on romance between characters. However, it does contain massive spoilers from all of The Dragon Age games. If you are unfamiliar with the games I provide enough background information and character creation that you will not be lost. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I both love and broke for these characters. This book is complete with a little over 250 chapters. However, I have to type and revise it chapter by chapter because most of my writing was done by hand with a bunch of scribbles everywhere. It is a slower build-up to the spice and relationship as I lay out the foundation, but when it starts, it picks up drastically. Don't worry, when it's complete I will list the spice chapters for those of you who are only interested in that. *No judgment because same* There will eventually be a Solas POV for this story. *Eventually* Please make sure to look at the trigger warnings if that is a concern. What if Solas never slept in Uthenera.... what if he just hid in his Glen and only came out to wander the world and help those he deemed "worthy" of his "services".... what if spirits could love as humans do.... just not while they are in the Fade.... Melava Sulevan is who people call the Gypsy Elf.... her clan was taken by slavers when she was a child many were sold some were killed and only she escaped.... from then on she was moved from clan to clan but spent most of her time out of the camps.... even though she was Dalish she wasn't very fond of the Dalish was.... their beliefs, how they treated outsiders.... when she was 4..... that is when her clan was being sold off..... she met two wolves who took care of her along her journey from one clan to the next..... they never entered the camps though.... those wolves belonged to Solas.... she named them Fen (who is all white with one blue and one green eye) and Harel (who is all black with one grey and one red eye)..... Solas watched her through their eyes as she grew into a beautiful powerful mage.... the two wolves were considered her protectors by the clans since they were always seen only with her.... her last clan is Keeper Hawen's clan.... when she was of age he asked her who's Vallaslin she wished to wear and with a serious face but teasing tone she told him "the dread wolf's"..... So she grew up the only elf without a Vallaslin till she joined the Inquisition and met Solas.... but fell in love with the spirit Cole/CompassionComplete

(This story is my first Dragon Age Inquisition story but has undergone revision and a few changes) Talila, a mid-twenties to late twenties year old woman with a kind heart and is a huge fan of the Dragon Age series, though she keeps it under lock and key. She adores the series but when she somehow ends up in Thedas (around the time of the Inquisition) things become complicated when she finds herself falling for one of the members of the Inquisition, after being rescued by them, but unknown to them her time being where she was she experienced Lyrium and the nasty addiction that comes with it was truly in a not so best situation and as a consequence has a hard time letting anyone in, except for one person: Cullen. Cullen knows Talila does not belong to his world, but once it comes to his attention that she struggles with herself and with Lyrium withdrawals, he finds himself all but jumping to her aid; Slowly he develops feelings for her and refuses to give up on her, regardless of what she says or does, but when Talila starts acting odd, combined with bouts of unexplained rage, it swiftly comes to his attention that her family lineage has more secrets then even Talila is aware of.Complete
