Ellie McKenrick has know about the shadowhunter world since the day she was born. She has train for over 4 fifths of her life. As soon as she finally knew what she wanted to do in life, her parents are both killed by a powerful demon. Ellie rushes through the only portal she knew of and ends up in New York walking hopelessly around. After a night in the New York subway she knew she had to fine some of her kind. or maybe that never happends.... you'll just have to read on and find out
