I quirked an eyebrow and smiled internally as he slightly blanched before regaining his confident demeanor. "Natasha, I meant that you look like you need someone, or something, I guess, to...cheer you up this Christmas." ~~~ Natasha is lost. After turning down Brian, her "perfect" boyfriend, she feels as though she'll never find true love. But Christmastime is here, and she meets Erik, who has a special knack for driving Natasha crazy. When the two team up to enjoy each other's company for Christmas, they just might find something more than a simple friendship.

I had to admit, he was cute. His eyes sparkled nervously and his lips were a lovely shade of natural red. He had his arms crossed over his chest, a gesture that could possibly get him knocked out in this place. He looked as though he could fake a tough guy but at heart he was gentle. I had good instincts and they were screaming to steer clear of this guy. Why? Because he would break my heart. Why is that all the best relationships happen at the strangest of times? Laurel meets Trey inside of a Juvenile Detention Centre and the two of them become closer than anything. For Laurel, Trey was the first friend in her life. But for Trey, he intended for Laurel to be his last. Trey is heartbroken when Laurel leaves the Centre and moves away from town, never to see him again. Laurel has runaway from her foster parents, changed her name and even the colour of her hair. She's created a whole new persona for herself and never wants to revisit the past, but what happens when the most unlikely thing happens? What happens when Trey moves in just around the corner?
