Emma just moved to a new town and new school, and while she's walking to school on her first day and girl named Violet appears. Except she can float, she's terribly pale, and claimed to be a Demon there to haunt her. On Emma's way to school, Violet tells her she doesn't know why, or how she died, all she remembered was that she was supposed to haunt Emma. Emma and Violet become friends while trying to find out about Violet's past and how she died. Will Violet learn the truth about her past? Why is Violet supposed to haunt Emma? Will Violet's death be more complicated that either of them could have imagined?
