She woke up to something weird in her. She sits up and looks at her five year old hands that are glowing with a blueish light. She stared at the weird shifting light that danced with grace in her fingertips to her wrists. It was enchanting when something snapped her out. A man stood next to her bed, he sat next to her on the bed and smiled at her as he gently pressed two fingers to her forehead.

The bright ball of blue, green, gold and white twinkled with radiant glimmers along its surface. Suspended in the void of pure darkness, pitched against the twinkle of faint silver stars, the it was almost beautiful from this distance. Ages ago, Turivel had visited this world and the scars it left on her never faded. Pains in her chest threatened to destroy her calm composed face. "You don't have to go, I can do this alone," said a male voice, cutting through her thoughts. Turivel blinked, bringing herself back to the present. Her steely eyes turned to look at him, her lips curled in a half smile, "Do you really think I am foolish enough to trust you with something this important?" He crossed his arms. The pair stood suspended in the void of space not far from the planet before them. Against the darkness behind him the man's face had twisted into a disapproving scowl, "I know you call me the Evangelist for a reason. And I know that you will pay me for my trouble," his dark brown hair curled around him in the void, covering half his face and his dark eyes, "And that is enough for me. But most importantly, I know that your head is too clouded by this planet for you to act clearly down there." Turivel sighed, relenting, "Alright, go. Bring her back. But be careful, be subtle. And remember the importance of who you bring to me." "I always do," he said over his shoulder. A blue circle of light appeared around the edges of his shape and he slowly faded from existence. Turivel let her guard down, her shoulders slumped slightly now that she was alone. Wisps of her golden hair fell around her face as she allowed herself a moment to just feel the worry and stress of it all. All of life and death hung in the balance now, and all she could do was pray he made it.

"I know you're a virgin but have you never been touched?" He asked, sliding his other hand down onto her leg. "What makes you say that?" Kat breathed, bracing her hands on the counter. "You react like someone who's never felt another's touch," Nex whispered, slipping his thumb under the band of her shorts. "So, have you not?" Kat opened her mouth to speak but stopped when his hand slid up from her leg, gliding up her stomach and stopping just below her breast. "Not even here?" He asked, following the curve of her breast with one finger, not touching, staying just below as he dragged it back and forth. "What about here?" He asked, sliding his hand down from her ribs to the bottom of her shorts then around to her butt, fingers nearly grazing it as he inched them up, under her pajamas. "I can say with certainty, never here," he said, lowering his other hand under the waistband of her shorts, touching the top of her underwear. "No, you've definitely never felt that before. I can hear your heart racing, I can feel your breathing, I can smell your body responding like it's never experienced these sensations before," he whispered, sliding a finger just underneath the band. "Please, stop," I begged, my voice cracking. Tears streamed down my face, my eyes swollen and burning. "I can't handle this anymore. Just stay away from me." His words, "Little Angel, don't say that. I'm here to love you," were like a cruel joke. Love? The word tasted like ash in my mouth. His actions screamed something entirely different. "Your sweet words won't change anything. I need you to keep your distance," I responded firmly, putting all my energy into my voice. My breath hitched. One minute we were arguing, the next...fire. Agony seared my throat. He shoved me onto the bed, my head hitting the pillows hard. Stunned, I begged silently, God, please, save me from this monster. His hands were on my throat again, squeezing, stealing my air. Blurred vision, his eyes bloodshot, furious. "How dare you?" he growled. "Consequences, baby." ************************************ He, steeped in darkness, she, bathed in light. A collision was inevitable, a clash of opposing forces that threatened to shatter them both. Would he succumb to the light, or would he drag her down into his darkness? The stakes were higher than either of them could have imagined. This wasn't just love. It was a war for their souls. "What's a kiss?" He asked in my right ear, sending a shiver up my spine. "What's a kiss?" He was suddenly on my left. "What's a kiss." I heard from above. "Tell me, Lucilia." I placed my hand on the back of my neck, defeatedly shook my head and sighed. "Alright." Everything immediately became deathly silent and still, but I could practically feel his eagerness all around as if it were tangible. "It's sort of when you, well, when you touch your lips to someone else's in a show of affection." I was thankful it was so dark since I was no doubt blushing terribly. Then I remembered that he could see perfectly in this pitch black pit of godawful nothingness... Dammit. The soft inquisitive clicks of his crown were suddenly right in front of me. "Oh, I actually do know what that is." His hand very gently lifted my chin up. "It's like this..." -: ✧ :-✧-: ✧ :- The crown prince of an undead kingdom denounces his claim to the throne and flees to the abyssal wilderness to be a lonesome wanderer for all time.
