Ezra is a young street rat from the planet Lothal. One day, he steals crates from a crew trying to take them from the Empire. He ends up on the crew's ship, the Ghost. They are trying to rescue wookies, but the mission goes wrong. The captain, Hera sends Ezra to warn Kanan, Zeb, Sabine, and Chopper. They all successfully make it out, except for Ezra. Zeb leaves him behind and the crew never comes back for him. Ezra manages to escape on his own, but his trust in people no longer exists. Some time later, Ezra meets up with the crew yet again. (So this story is from Spark of Rebellion, but the crew doesn't go back for Ezra.)

a rewrite from the story I started and lost back in 2018.... Ezra is badly injured after he sneaks out on a solo mission that turns out to be a trap and he ends up getting captured and tortured and gets trapped in a coma. Maul tries to corrupt his mind and turn him to the dark side, Kanan is blind and defeated but can he still use the Force to try and enter his Padawan's comatose state and pull him out to save him before he falls to the darkness? The day that marks the five year anniversary of the horrific event is coming up. But will things only get worse? Erica is a young woman who has a catastrophic past, but now she has only one mission; to find out the truth how the Republic and Jedi Order fell.
