The youngest, Elliott, is underestimated and gets to feel the wrath of his older brother, Slash. Slash, the second youngest, is tough and blames Elliott for all his problems. There are Manmoths and battles, little innocent 5 year olds and burned 24 year olds. Elliott meets a girl, named Red, who finds out some mysteries about her family during the journey.
