"what is it that you want Anders?" I asked irritance evident on my face. "Well just friendsh-" "Already lost me, bye". I packed my books and started to leave. "Wait I have a proposal for you then". He waited searching my face for some kind of interest. I gave nothing but a nod, he took this as a cue to continue. "I'll be your prank partner, partner in crime. I'll be your look out when you're stuffing rotten eggs in Emily Vega's locker. Heck I'll even take the blame for you if necessary whatever you want but you'll have to be my friend". He finished grinning at his 'smart' idea. I had to admit it wasn't half bad an idea. He'll be taking the blame for my atrocities. I smirked at the thought. "It's settled. Meet me at the chem lab four pm for your audition". I finished and stalked out. Good idea for me, very, very bad idea for him. Girl meets boy. Boy meets girl. Girl hates any form of human contact not to talk of interaction. The 'I' word. Boy wants to make a difference this senior year and make friends in this new school. His first option however, is the toughest and his biggest mistake. Although If he could cross it off his bucket list, making friends with an iceberg. That'll do. Transfer student, Zachary Anderson meets Annalaura Stevens. Stubborn meets determined. Chaotic mistake.

This year was supposed to be simple: survive the rest of high school, save up as much money as possible, move back to California and become roommates with Stacey. That was the plan, it was all set from the moment she landed in New York. But of course, the universe had to come and rearrange everything. * * * There I sat in the cabin of a small fly-bridge boat as Josh sailed us to who knows where. Gripping the cushion of my seat I glanced from my phone to different spots around me. It had been more than half an hour since I had sent the text to the group chat. No one had called me or texted me and I could feel my hopes being crushed. Here I thought this small group of people actually cared about me. I should have known better. Minutes later Josh emerged and leaned against the door frame. He smiled at me and I felt something flip inside my rib cage. My mind couldn't figure out why Josh's presence affected my heart beat. When he appeared my hands became sweaty and my stomach fluttered. "Ready?" He asked in a velvet tone. Crossing my arms over my chest I raised an eyebrow at him. Where exactly had he brought us to?"Follow me," he left the frame of the door and I followed him. Snaking around to the front of the boat I saw blankets and pillows laid over the front. * * * Please excuse my sorry excuse of a summary and just please read the story instead. Thank you.
