As a child, Alexandra Potter fell in love with the story of Cinderella. She dreamed of a prince coming to take her away from the hell she was living in, to save her and her brother from the cruelty of their relatives.
Alex's escape did not come in the form of an invitation to a ball, but rather a letter to a magical school. And though her story did not involve a prince nor a ball and glass slippers, it did come with a castle and a magical world.
However, Alex soon realized that her life was anything but a fairytale, and if she wants to be saved, she's going to have to do it herself.
