Evelyn's parents had been top scientists, famous at SHIELD for their quick minds and intelligent thinking. They passed down their aptitude to their two sons and daughter, along with their legacy. Evelyn, however, never knew any of this because they were killed before she even learned her own name.
Now her brothers are dead too, and Evelyn has returned to SHIELD to track down the murderers and bring justice to her family's name.

Alpha Martinez was unique, and her parents made sure of it. At birth, they gave Alpha the most unique name they could think of, and the girl wondered if her parents hated her because of the name they had given her. When Alpha was sixteen, her parents were murdered by Hydra, and she was experimented on for over a year, before she was able to sneak away and never be found. With that being said, she was given the ability to turn invisible and walk through objects at will, as well as turn people and things invisible if she wanted to do so.
