April O'Neil, a fearless reporter, and her younger sister Skylar, a free-spirited artist, find themselves on the run after witnessing the subway incident that revealed the existence of the Turtles. Seeking to find the vigilantes on a rooftop in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, the sisters stumble upon the four heroes themselves. While April is fascinated by them- no doubt looking for a story- Skylar is inexplicably drawn to the eldest turtle, Leonardo. Despite Leonardo's initial wariness, Skylar's genuine kindness and artistic spirit begin to melt his shell. As their first interaction grows, so does Skylar's affection. But their budding romance is a dangerous secret, especially given the threat posed by Shredder.
