They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. A taste of kaos
My eyes were stinging with tears , my face stained with the salty liquid . My tears couldn't help indicate I was crying thanks to the rain , but my weak and pathetic sobs helped project my emotions. He knelt down next to me , clearing the wet hair out of my pale, delicate face . His blue eyes pierced through my entire existence . He took my shaking hand, and he placed a gun in it . " Shoot me . If you don't....I'm gonna kill him, and you're gonna live your pathetic little life knowing that an innocent man lost his life thanks to you ." he says in a low Somber tone. " Why.....why are you doing this ? " My voice , it was indeed little and pathetic. " Shoot me," he said , holding eye contact, his blue metallic orbs shaking with some emotion I couldn't tell . "Do it !" his voice was loud and firmer . " If you want him to live, do it.....c'mon shoot me. SHOOT ! " My hand lifted up into the air , trembling weakly . I couldn't even aim at him . "You hate me, right ? , so shoot . Cuz if you don't.....you'll hate me even more, " hurt , he said it with hurt. The war did affect both of them, mentally and physically. As hard as they try to lead a normal life, things always seem to escalate and they come face to face with monsters. But the latest events made monster attacks look like sparring challenges. Annabeth and Percy are enjoying an evening at the beach when red alert is sounded. Seems like a camper has gone missing. Who? Revenge.
Percy Jackson was finally able to lay low and have a peaceful life for once. The war with Gaea and the Giants was over, and Percy was excited to have the chance to spend time with his beautiful girlfriend. Then everything comes crashing down. A new kid comes stumbling into Camp-Half-Blood, and the moment he lays eyes on the legendary son of Poseidon, he hated him. It didn't help that the new kid was claimed by Poseidon, making him Percy's half-brother. Rumours and lies started to circle Camp-Half-Blood. Lies about how Percy was a traitor to the Gods, that he was spying for the titans the entire time. It finally came to the point where Percy was driven out of camp. But he had to have some sort of parting words to the people who had driven him out of camp, right? Of course. Perseus Jackson's final words. "I'll be back.
