I am very happy to bring to you a special cut scene from my latest novel, Life Sentence, which is the third book in my Paranormal Detectives Series, published by Vamptasy Publishing.
I decided to cut this scene because I couldn't build anything around it to make it fit better into the book. So rather than have it out of place, I cut the thing entirely, saving it for such an occasion as this. If you're unfamiliar with the series, I hope this makes you want to pick it up. If
you have already read Life Sentence, I hope you enjoy this look into Angelica's mindset over
Fiona. Their rivalry was one of my favorite things to write.
For those of you who are new to this series, here are the basics: Danny is a mortal who is dating Angelica, who is a vampire. Fiona is a demonic witch who has violent history with them both, and the "PID" is a special branch of the FBI created by Angelica to track down paranormal criminals.

You know I'm bad at keeping secrets." "NO! Come on please. I don't want to lose my position. (or my life) You wouldn't do that to me would you Lil?" I got him.
