Dean was the jock everyone expected him to be. Castiel was the new kid that everyone picked on. They didn't realize what made Castiel different, the teen made sure of that. He had been alone, friendless, and beaten by his father since the ripe old age of three. Without a mother, Castiel had to try and teach himself how to do things that were taught by the love and patience of a mother. His father could barely keep them in a house, let alone buy them food.
