Turning 18 is supposed to be a good thing- it used to be a good thing. Now, almost everyone dreads the day where they're seen as grown up enough to work, because for most of us our work is not good. We are slaves, everyone in my stupid little town doesn't truly own themselves and we can never raise to higher power because there is one group- one breed, that will always be stronger in every way.
I live in a town controlled by vampires.
Camilla Breen has recently turned 18 and is now expected to leave her family to fulfill a job assigned to her against her will. Living with vampires would be enough to scare anyone to sleepless nights and anxious days, but how much worse is it when you're expected to serve a Prince who loves to wants nothing more than your undivided attention, and will do anything to get it?

Beth white doesn't get treated fairly in her pack house, yes she's were wolf but when she turns 17 and gets the chance to find her mate and actually be happy. He rejects her, and she doesn't take it lightly. She runs off to find a new family and a second chance - "Mate." I mutter under my breath "No! no! no!" he complains "Why did I get you as a mate! your nothing but a helpless slave girl." he spits at me "No. You don't know who I am."
