Zircons were one of the many soldier gems on homeworld. They were used to battle and taking a life but one Zircon stood out. Zircon, facet 2001, cut 0802 who would soon become know as the Gem Reaper. 

(This content does have spoilers for the newest episodes of Steven Universe.  It will adjust accordingly to the show as the story progresses. I DO NOT OWN STEVEN UNIVERSE IN ANYWAY. I only own the gemsonas that will be revealed throughout the story.)
