August Erickson and her crew of four intrepid explorers are tasked with adventuring the ocean depths in order to put America on the up and up again. Hand selected by college classmate and current president Anna Liu, the group takes to the depths. August has been captivated by the ocean her whole life, but now that she's nestled in the intimacy of a submarine, even her long-time crush, Radleigh, can't manage to shake her from a series of distressing dreams. No matter, the ocean is just a mystery to be solved, and August is not to be deterred.
