Marauder era: Lily takes a look back at her last year at Hogwarts. A story full of twists and turns. Her time with Severus and the love they shared. Her relationships with James, Sirius and Remus. This is a story filled with love, loss, anger, betrayal and redemption.
How much would the story have changed if Severus's mistakes were a little different? What would have changed if Severus had changed sides sooner? Would Lily forgive him, would her choices be different? How would James, Sirius and Remus play into her life with these changes? Had these things happened along with a chance at redemption and a lot of forgiveness the boy who lived story could have been a lot different.
This story does not follow canon exactly, it is my personal take on how things should have been.

I thought I knew my ending - Year 4
The voices intensified. I had arrived at a circular-shaped door that was slightly ajar. Snakes were engraved on it, and there was an inscription in a language I did not recognize, let alone was able to read. I gripped the sword more firmly, placed my hand against the door, and pushed it further open. Not far, just enough to see what was going on behind it. But even before I could see them, I felt the acidity rising in my throat. I braced my hand against a boulder and took a deep breath to keep it down. Why was I so incredibly nauseous? Probably because of the rotting smell of the decaying corpses, said the little voice in the back of my mind. Or because of the liquor that wanted to rise in my throat. Or maybe it was just because I already knew that I had made a huge mistake following her. Book 3 - year 4 of a series about the marauders from Lily Evans POV (well, mostly). Lily Evans gets a second change in life to change her past and therefor the future of all those around her. Unfortunately, she has forgotten what will happen to her future self. She has no idea why she has nightmares about a deer, black dog and rat or why she has all these strange memories of older versions of herself and the annoying Gryffindors she's supposed to hate. After all, being a Slytherin comes with some prejudices. This story will take place during the marauders time at Hogwarts, all seven years and a few years after, during the war. As you will notice, I made a few alterations in this story that aren't aligned with the original one, but you will soon discover it's way more interesting to change the timeline a bit and put Lucius Malfoy and Ballatrix Black in the same school as the marauders.Complete

Seventh year was supposed to be great. It was their last year at Hogwarts. Things changed big time. Remus Lupin was no longer part of the Marauders. He ditched them because he was fed up. All the two did was bully people lower than them. Remus Lupin you can say was not normal. On top of being a wizard, he was a werewolf, gay, and pregnant. Now he was dealing with this all alone. His boyfriend dumped him for some chick. Remus was done crying over him. Lily Evans had many friends and a great boyfriend to boot but, James Potter would not leave her alone. She was tired of dealing with him and his bullying ways. Her boyfriend was her best friend as was Remus Lupin. Severus Snape had a wonderful girlfriend. What more did he need. No it was true he did not have many friends but, he had one true one. Severus hated the Marauders but, Remus started hanging with him things changed. Yes he still hated the Marauders but, he saw that Remus was a good person deep down. James Potter and Sirius Black ruled Hogwarts. They got everything and anything that they wanted. James was sorely pissed that Snape had the girl that he thought was his. Sirius was highly upset that Remus hadn't listened to him on anything. They said school was hard but, life is harder. Remus moves in with Lily and her boyfriend Severus. James and Sirius take the mark. While Peter is left deciding what to do.Complete

Epiphany
Lily's tired of the growing grudge that's taken over Hogwarts. She's tired of the Gryffindor-Slytherin rivalry, of the Marauders and their stupid pranks, of the blood prejudice and even of her best friend, Severus. James is tired too. He's grown sick of this game of pretend, where everyone acts as if everything's fine when it's really not. His friend group is drifting apart, his grades are plummeting and now there are all these expectations! Something needs to change this year. What I'm doing here is taking the Marauders' (James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter), Lily Evans', and Severus Snape's tales of Hogwarts and I'm turning them modern because I don't know what it would've been like when they were actually there so... yeah. This is mostly in the point of view of Lily Evans, but I might switch to James every now and then. I'm going to try and focus a lot of the Marauders, of course, and their relationships with Lily. And of course, Lily's relationship with Snape because let's be honest, we all ship it a little bit! This takes place in their sixth year so.... enjoy!
