The girl in the mask really only has one target. The ninja. With arrows by her side, she fires them at Lloyd. With one special on ready for him. Instead of Lloyd getting hit, Kai takes the blow.

This is a Ninjago Fanfic and I want to have fun with this one. This will also probably stay in Kai's and My OC's POV for majority This also takes place after Seabound. And if I don't finish it by Crystallized I'll change the ending to make sense to that season. Also this is not an OC Kai love story. It is us also complete but I'm not posting the chapters all at once. A few months after Nya's departure Kai had not been the same. The once hot head sarcastic is now a gloomy almost mean person, snapping at every and anyone. One day he went on is usual blow off steam patrol he came across someone new...someone who would change him and a small groups life forever. Follow him as he learns there's more threats then the one Pythor posed. I am so sorry for the bad description first actual book I'm posting. Also don't expect anything amazing. This is my first book with a good plot that I'm finished. And hint hint it's not done.... I also recommend reading the introduction (1st chapter) before skipping ahead. ' She's here...' I opened my eyes to see a very familiar girl wearing a blank white mask. "So this is what you choose in the end?" I ask staring at her waiting for a reply. A haunting giggle filled my ears. That wretched laugh fill with dark magic. I quickly block the noise to keep me focused on the task on hand. "After everything, you choose to betray everyone who ever care for you and walk in the path of evil." She stops her laughing and tilts her head in confusion. The insufferable laugh return but was getting louder by the second. I cover my ears trying to block the horrid laugh, but it was no use. The girl quickly took a folding fan. The colors once a bright and colorful are now tainted in black. She ran towards me to strike a blow as her white mask starts to form words. 'Me, betrayed you? How can I, when there was nothing to betray.' [Edit: This story is really bad and the secondhand embarrassment will be unbearable in the first part of the story. A ton of spelling and grammar mistakes. I barely turned 16 when I wrote this so I didn't know anything about writing since this was probably my first time actually wanting and caring enough to try. Probably gonna rewrite this later.]

(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no.
