Young Willow Hasdrubal has scars that she accepts from her cruel stepmother, Ophelia. She's in the dark about what happened to her parents and has been clueless all her life. But then she discovers a note written by the killer. And then she receives more notes. Each detailing an event in her past which only she could have any knowledge of. Someone has been stalking her from the moment she stepped foot in this town. Someone close to her. Someone she trusts. She doesn't know what they want. She doesn't know who they are. For Scarlett, things only get stranger. Her boyfriend begins acting up, the murders are messier and more obvious and she has a complicated relationship with her best friend's brother who, as it turns out, is the only person she can truly trust anymore. As the dead bodies pile up, Scarlett is thrust deeper and deeper into the complicated past, and her chances of making it out alive are slowly diminishing. [Rated Mature for strong language, somewhat graphic depictions of violence and: TW for suicide, depression, self-harm and mental illness. I made this when I was younger and decided to release my old work into this to the world. I didn't plan a storyline so this maybe have crazy tone shifts. (Making her naive to the cruelty of the world.) She always wanted to see the world outside of the castle. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see. Her soft skin will turn scaled. Her silk like hair will disappear and be replaced with sharp horns. She will be the monster outside as that she is inside." Whispered the witch.

The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth.
