A small smile crept on Gabby's face as she said, "I know what will make me believe you. Let's seal the promise with our best friend hand shake."

"Deal." I said, as we did our secret hand shake that no one knew. It was ridiculous but we didn't care at all; it was our special thing.

Gabby wrapped her arms quickly around my neck, as I placed my hands on her back. I lived for this; her hugs. They always were warm and filled with love; making me want to hold her forever.
