After Birdie died, everyone drifted apart. They all moved on, succeeding their parents and dealing with their deaths. Three years of law school in Gotham and Lucy moved immediately to New York where her half sister, Rosette, her step mother, Ivy and her mother, Harley, resided.
Five years later, she receives a phone call from Scar...
Bruce Wayne is dead and Lucy is on his will. The problem with this? Five years ago, Bruce cut off contact with everyone, all of the family and simply disappeared.
But is he really dead?
Meanwhile, Cassandra has taken over the mantle of Batman, with her old age, she knows she can't continue. By some miracle, a new protege appears: Terry McGinnis. The kids share with him their lives and train him to become the new Batman.
Despite this, Lucy is uneasy about the new changes. In the five years, Gotham has changed, and so has its surrounding cities. Nearly all the heroes are dead, and their children are left to pick up the pieces.
With new villains, shocking discoveries, and familiar faces, what is left in this new, cruel world? And, more importantly, will the Batfamily survive it?

Then a little ducky waddles his way into Batman's life, reminding him of who he was supposed to be.
Catwoman has taken a break as Selina focuses more on helping herself. Life has always given her disappointments, but it's about to make up for all its sins.
Not all new comers have entered their lives to bring them joy.
Some want what the dark knight had promised: vengeance. Others just want to see if Batman is as tall as imagined.
