But is he really dead?
Meanwhile, Cassandra has taken over the mantle of Batman, with her old age, she knows she can't continue. By some miracle, a new protege appears: Terry McGinnis. The kids share with him their lives and train him to become the new Batman.
Despite this, Lucy is uneasy about the new changes. In the five years, Gotham has changed, and so has its surrounding cities. Nearly all the heroes are dead, and their children are left to pick up the pieces.

"What do you have to hide? An unrequited love perhaps?"
Bruce Wayne is dead and that has took a toll on everyone. Gotham mourns the billionaire, but also knowing the the Bat has suddenly disappeared, the city is a wreck. The only protectors of the city is the family Bruce built. His family didn't take the news very well, especially his biological son, Damian Wayne. He still continues his journey as the boy wonder. In his recent acts, he has been more violent. Bruce's death has torn the Bat Family apart, leaving the boy alone with Alfred Pennyworth. He never expected to enjoy the manservants company but he would prefer his family to be with him too. They are rarely at the manor anymore, mostly because it felt empty without Bruce there. One night, the boy wonder crosses paths with a thief that he has ran into once before. He never got her name and never bothered to look into it. The last time he's seen her, his father was still alive. The last time he's seen her, she was stealing something small. What happens when he finds out that this thief is one no other than the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker? What makes the girl so special?
(I do not own the characters in the book. All rights belong to DC. I do own the storyline as it is inspired by roleplays I did as my beloved Lucy Quinzel. Hope you all enjoy)
